Epoxy free!
I only use non-toxic, non-hazardous, non-yellowing, eco-friendly, food safe, and safe for indoor use products. I do not use epoxy because you practically have to "gear up" in PPE to use it. It is supposed to be safe after it cures, but I can't see using something that is toxic at ANY time in the process!

Making gifts has always been my favorite activity. When I was little, my parents used to bring home craft "kits" that had items in them to complete little projects. I always gave away what I made because I loved seeing the faces of people I knew light up when I gave them gifts made with my own hands. Looking back, I think a lot of the smiles were because I spent time making treasures for them, not for the items themselves! Nevertheless, it fueled my desire to learn and keep making things to make people smile and I started reading how to do things. There was no internet back then, so it was not as easy as it is now. As I got older, I would visit craft stores and looked around to find things that I could use to make something. A few years ago, I made some water bottles with sublimation and fell in love with the process. I wanted to do glitter tumblers too, but started reading about how toxic epoxy was and decided against it. That is, until I came across some videos on YouTube about epoxy free tumbler coatings and I was hooked!
I lost my husband on November 30, 2021 and ended up in the hospital the next day with pneumonia. Please believe me, for someone who never really got anything more than a mild cold, it was no fun. I ended up with a long bout with Covid and was not able to go back to work. Because I needed something for income and to keep me busy, after some soul searching (and some help and encouragement from my family), I came up with the idea to do something I have always loved.
